Achievements
Upazila Cooperative Office, Ramu, Cox's Bazar, has achieved significant success in the last 03 years in terms of maintaining the continuity of the work of the Cooperative Directorate in order to make the cooperative development-oriented and sustainable, as well as preparing the foundation to face future challenges. Facilitating citizen service through innovative practices of officials, more cooperative In order to make it an organization of the people and to improve its quality, to provide services easily and quickly, the official activities of this office have been completed in a computerized system, and it has been able to create self-employment through cooperative organizations. In the last three financial years, a total of 15 cooperative societies were formed and 350 people were newly formed Registered in cooperatives. In 2019-20 32, 2020-21 36 and 2021-22 60 effective cooperative societies have been audited. Audit Fee & VAT Rs.38719/-, Registration Fee & VAT Rs.5175/- and Cooperative Development Fund(CDF) Rs.48271/- duly paid. durable
50 cooperatives have been imparted mobile training through the district mobile team for formation of cooperatives. In order to increase the skills of 09 cooperatives, measures have been taken to make them self-reliant by providing training at Bangladesh Cooperative Academy, Kotbari, Comilla and Regional Cooperative Education, Feni. Also, installments of loans disbursed among resettled families under the shelter scheme of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Office are continuing.
